In my last article about small hot tubs I went over some reasons to buy a small sized tub.

Today I came across an interesting article in eBay that describes the safety to keep in mind when buying a small hot tub. The articles warns against buying a Chinese one. It also gives some advice on what to do when you can't afford a more expensive one but want to make sure you buy a safe hot tub.

Major international manufacturers of branded spas offer a full warranty to their distributors and retailers. This means that it costs next-to-nothing for your supplier to warrant your spa. This is very different from the way Chinese factories treat their resellers, who rarely get any support at all, and are just sent more of the same products rather than a re-fund. With this lack of backup, resellers are often reluctant to guarantee their products.

Looking for small hot tubs? Read on.

Maybe you still haven't decided whether you will buy a smaller hot tub or a bigger one. Small hot tubs are made for two persons while some larger ones can hold up to seven people.

Small hot tubs have the same features than bigger ones. There are a couple of differences to keep in mind though.

First, there's the obvious. If you plan to invite all your family into you're tub a small one ain't going to cut it. That's obvious.

Second, smaller ones are cheaper. Of course, this also depends on the features. A small one with everything you could dream of will still cost more than a larger one with only a basic set of features. Generally speaking the difference in price will be the difference in size though.

Third, smaller ones can be placed on more places. If don't have much space a smaller one will probably your choice.

Basically there are two hot tub styles: lounger and non-lounger. What this means is that some hot tubs have laid down seats. Small hot tubs are mostly designed to provide enough room for two persons to sit comfortably, or one person to lie down. If you plan to get in there with someone and both lie down you might want to consider a larger model.

A benefit of smaller hot tubs is that they provide more intimacy. Also, often a two-person hot tub is used as primary bathtub.

Don't forget that your small hot tub is intended to to last for a long time. Before you make a decision make sure you think about every item that can be of importance. Maybe your family is going to grow. Then you have to keep in mind that space will be more problematic if you plan to use it with the whole family.
